In the Ministry of Energy, we have started to update our strategic plan to keep pace with the aspirations of the Government of the United Arab Emirates, in order to make the Ministry among the best energy ministries locally and globally.
In accordance with the vision and aspirations of our wise leadership towards laying down the foundations and fully considered scientific plans aimed at achieving sustainable development and decent life for citizens and residents in our young nation, the Ministry is working towards enacting suitable laws and legislations to regulate the energy sector, according to the best international practices and criteria. This shall lead to integration between primary and complimentary energy generation sources, which will include renewable energy and nuclear energy. The Ministry is also working to formulate a clear strategy for the petroleum and mineral wealth sector.
