Pro League Committee

About

The Pro League Committee (PLC,) works under the umbrella of the UAE Football Association. Holding all the commercial rights, the PLC is the organising body of the Arabian Gulf League, Arabian Gulf Cup, Arabian Gulf Super Cup, and Arabian Gulf Reserve League.

The PLC does not operate in isolation; it works proactively with the club members to improve the quality of football locally, regionally and intercontinentally.

The Pro League Committee was established in February 2007, with a resolution issued by the Football Association General Committee headed at that time by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs to set a committee concerned with establishing a professional league according to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) regulations.
